Chong-Min Kim, MD, is a board-certified urologist and urological surgeon with nearly 25 years of experience. A longtime New York resident, Dr. Kim provides expert urology care to patients throughout New York City at NY Urology’s offices in Midtown East and the Forest Hills neighborhood in Queens.
After graduating from New York University in New York City, with a bachelor of arts in biochemistry, Dr. Kim enrolled in the Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He earned both his medical doctorate and PhD in 1996 before beginning an anatomic pathology residency at Weill Cornell Medical College Department of Pathology in New York City.
After completing his residency in 1997, Dr. Kim started his general surgery internship at New York University Medical Center Department of Surgery in New York City. He also completed a general surgery residency at the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center Department of Surgery in Brooklyn, New York.
In 2003, Dr. Kim returned to the State University of New York Downstate Medical Center for full-time clinical training in adult and pediatric urologic medicine and surgery. He later completed a clinical urologic oncology fellowship at the National Cancer Institute Urologic Oncology Branch in Bethesda, Maryland.
As an experienced and well-trained urologist, Dr. Kim diagnoses and treats an array of urologic conditions, including kidney stones, urinary tract infections, urinary incontinence, prostate cancer, and erectile dysfunction.
